Cowley Research Group

The primary focus of research in the Cowley lab is synthetic main group chemistry. This includes the synthesis and reactivity of novel 1,2-bis(imino)ancenaphthene (BIAN) and tetrakis(imino)pyracene (TIP) complexes, and research done in conjuction with the Center for Electrochemistry focusing on ionic liquids and Group 13/15 semiconductor materials for use in photovoltaic applications.
